MTB... Looking for a real challenge?
For ambitious cyclists, the mountain bike opens the door to high alpine pastures, rugged mountains and deep valleys of the Dolomites. No wonder the Dolomiti Superbike South Tyrol – the toughest MTB race in the region – takes place right here in the Braies Valley. Also challenging: the Giro Bike Tour and the Stoneman Trail.
MTB Event of the Year – Dolomiti Superbike South Tyrol
This legendary race covers 119 km from Villabassa across the Prato Piazza, Carbonin, Dobbiaco, San Candido, Monte Baranci to Sesto’s Croda Rossa – and back via Prato alla Drava and Versciaco to Villabassa. Accept the challenge – we’ll take care of the rest: sports nutrition, recovery massages and secure bike storage.
Giro Bike Tour
Four mountains, 3,500 metres of elevation by bike and train, breathtaking views and the community of fellow bikers – this is what makes the Giro Bike Tour in the Sesto Dolomites so special.
Stoneman Trail
Former pro rider Roland Stauder created this 115 km trail with 4,000 metres of elevation gain – marked with symbolic stone cairns. The goal: reach five checkpoints and stamp your bracelet. An MTB adventure for the truly determined!
