Any local patches of low cloud or fog will clear quickly, but the chance of isolated thunderstorms will increase during the afternoon. Thursday will bring plenty of sunshine and stable conditions, with hot temperatures. Friday will remain sunny and very hot, with the risk of heat thunderstorms developing towards the evening.

Although a high-pressure system will continue to dominate the weather, the atmospheric conditions will become slightly more unstable.
Conditions in the mountains will be unsettled, although the first half of the day will remain mostly dry. During the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will become widespread.

The upper-level wind is veering north-west, and the air masses are drying out as a result of the Föhn.
Sunny conditions will prevail across all mountain ranges at first, with a few clouds lingering along the main Alpine ridge. Some cumulus clouds will develop during the day, but the risk of showers will remain low.
